This day is celebrated with pomp and show, zeal and spirit, throughout the length and breadth of the country. We at Spring Meadows Public School celebrated this day with great eclat. The school building was tastefully decorated with historical monuments, posters, buntings, pictures of heroes of the freedom movement and national flags.
The ceremony began with the hoisting of the tricolor flag by Dr. Anshul Dewan, Director of Spring Meadows Public School accompanied by Mrs. Anu Dewan, Director of Academics.
Flag hoisting was followed by the National Anthem to pay tribute to the motherland. Further, to mark the importance of this day, a small cultural program was organized in the school premises by our talented and smart students, which included dance performances starting with Ganesh Vandana, a welcome speech in English and Hindi languages, patriotic song, patriotic dance and a scintillating performance by our little stars of classes KG, Prep, I & II. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity through their performances. The audience was enthralled by the mesmerizing performances of the students.
