On Wednesday, 26 February 2020, Education World magazine organised an honour program at Sahara Hotel in Mumbai. On this occasion, academics from all over India were present.
The awards were present by Sumeet Mehta, co-founder and CEO, LEAD school; Fatema Agarkar Centre for Excellence; Steve Hardgrave, Co-founder and CEO of Varthana; Smita Deorah, co-founder of LEAD School and Dr. Lalit S.Kanodia, founder and chairman of Datamatics Group of Companies.
Schools were also presented with the EW Special Merit Awards in categories of Innovation in Academics, Reading Culture, Outstanding Leadership, Emerging high-potential school and Ecology and Environment Awareness.
The EW Special Merit Award 2020 acknowledges and celebrates low-profile private budget schools that have introduced contemporary best practices in K-12 education. There are an estimated 400,000 Budget Public School nationwide.
On this occasion, Anshul Dewan, Director, Spring Meadows Public School was honoured for his contribution in the field of “Special Merit Award for Innovation in Academic”.
Anshul Dewan credited this honour to the hard work of his Spring Meadows family members.
He said that with the blessing of the founder of the school and his parents, the school is touching heights and is on the path of continuous progress.
He also credited this honour for the co-operation of the guardians of school children. The school had a happy atmosphere on this occasion.
